We are offering a beautiful SpanishMain Gauche that I believe dates back to the 19 th c. The extra long double edged blade on thisâeoeFabrica De Toledoâe left hand dagger is deeply etched and engraved, with much of its fire gilding still remaining in the etched out background areas. T are a few insignificant spots of surface age staining on the blade, with most of the staining in some of the etched areas; (See close-up photos) could probably be cleaned or polished off if the buyer wants to do it, but is still in very excellent condition for its age. The unusually long cross guard is accented with turned and flared end tips. The bordered center panel of the knuckle guard is entirely covered with beautiful, ornate etching and engravings. The dagger has a turned, ribbed steel grip along with a nicely turned steel pommel nut. Blade: 14 3/16 in. Overall Length: 19 1⁄2 in. Guard: 10 3/16 in.
