A Collectible Certificate from the World-Famous MAINE CENTRAL RAILROAD First Issued in 1915 this Stock Certificate is Hand-Signed by the Company's President and Treasurer! These are Quite Rare and Sell for Premium Prices ! This Line began operating in 1862 and is still running under one guise or another. I have shown some pictures ( NOT included in this sale) of Maine Central's Route as well as an older and a newer logo. It features a Magnificent Engraving of an Old-Time Locomotive from the GOLDEN AGE OF TRAINS ! On the Left is a Magnificent Locomotive coming towards us, Workers on the Track in the Middle, and on the Right a Caboose is pulling away from us, with some Passengers looking like they had just given a "Whistle-Stop" Speech! This Image incorporates some of the Finest Art Work ever produced by an Engraver! You really need to see it Up Close !
