Tonight I will be listing a number of interesting antiques and collectibles including a number of pieces of jewelry, fresh from a nice Maine farm estate sale... this auction is for a small antique wood hearth stenciled footstool, sort of an old Hitchcock painted design, it has a painted black background with gold accents on the turned legs and gold stenciling around the outer edge, and on the top it is stenciled with an old fashioned steam engine train with three carriage cars after it, each with canopt tops, in the background a house and some trees, the colors are subdued and t is a nice patina to it, it measures about 11" by 6 1/2" and about 1 1/2" thick, it is about 7 1/4" tall, the top is a solid piece of wood...I have not even dusted it, straight from the old farm....$9.00 US Shipping.
