Majestic Lion & Armor Victorian Gothic Oak Chairs~ 1890 His & Hers ~ Fit For a Castle! We recently purchased some collections out of a prominent dealers estate, and we finally got them to also part with this pair of chairs they used in their dining room. This is a wonderful his and her pairing and ready to be used in your very own castle! ~We love the detailed carving on these chairs. Lion carvings are rare enough, but these feature unusual armorial interest also! The two preening lions surround a maltese type armorial cross and the most unusual feature is the helmut carved finials! We've never seen those before, and are really a great touch! We supplied plenty of pictures for your viewing pleasure and are sure you may not find a pair like this again! Remember, our reserves are the very lowest price, so bid with confidence!~Condition is fine, sturdy, and original. The measurement of the arm chair is 54 1/2" high, 23" wide, 26" deep, and a seat height of 19". The side chair is 44" high, 18" wide, 20" deep, and a seat height of 18".
