This pair makes for a nice threesome together with the majolica vase in 211443. This is very early majolica. The hand rolled, and applied leaves and flowers are hand painted. The Jardinières are finished in high gloss. The planters measure nearly 8 inches high. About the condition, Pot A has some minor damage on the leaves like a few missing parts of the leaves, and a tiny nearly 1 inch crack on the top rim. This crack is not showing on the inside. Pot B shows similar chips missing. There is also a chip missing in the inside of the top rim. All this is not unusual for Majolica of this vintage. I would be very suspicious if I would hear from an old piece in perfect condition.
