Makers Mark 2008 Turfway SIGNED Johnny Bench .375 liter bottle. This is a limited edition bottle as only 6,000 of these were made and only 600 tickets were issued for the signing (March 22, 2008). Each person was allowed two bottles to be signed and not everyone had two bottles. I would say t were approximately 1,000 bottles signed total. This is Very Low Number 720 of 6,000. The bottles were very hard to get as liquor stores only allowed 1 bottle per customer. Bottles were only released in the Northern Kentucky area on March 14, 2008 and most retailers only received a few cases. The bottles were sold out within hours. Along with Johnny Bench's signature the bottles were also signed by Bill Samuels (president of Makers Mark) and Robert Elliston (president of Turfway Park). Johnny Bench is considered the best catcher of all time. He was a member of the Big Red Machine and is one of the most popular players to ever wear a Reds uniform.
