For auction is this beautiful dresser jar (could be used as a powder or jewelry also) hand painted in wonderful polychrome by Makkum . It is approx.5 3/4" wide and stands about 4" tall. and has no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. The original Tichelaar Makkum founded 1641 and is now known as ROYAL MAKKUM produced in the Nederlands to this day still makes beautiful tin glazed earthenware. I'm not sure of the age, the condition is so good in looks like a newer piece but the mark on the bottom seems like an older one. This would make a great VALENTINES DAY gift for a wife or girlfriend who knows the finest quality porcelain . Thanks for looking!
