Maling ware, blue ground lustre dish decorated with Primulas; Newcastle on Tyne. Very pretty plate/dish with rich blue background decoration of fish scale design back and front with a border of yellow, white and blushed with pink Primulas with green leaves.There are small projecting holds with moulded, fluted design; the gilded edge is hardly worn. There is some age related crazing but no chips or cracks.The dish measures 20cm diameter and 4cm high.
