I acquired this Mamod SE2 stationary steam engine as a Christmas present in about 1952. I used it to drive numerous Meccano models for several years thereafter and more in the 70s when my son took an interest. Since then it has lain dormant although I have no doubt that it will still work. As the photos show it is in need of some refurbishment - certainly a good clean and perhaps some new rubber feet. It comes complete with burner, a meths filler funnel, printed instructions and a (rather battered) box but otherwise is sold 'as is'. Payment by PayPal please or cash on personal collection.
