E-Man #1 from October 1973This bronze age Charlton comic features the first appearance and origin of E-Man. It is also the first appearance of his girlfriend, Nova Kane .This quirky hero had a small, but loyal following by those in the know back in the day, and a lthough this original title was short-lived, it enjoyed a bit of a cult-like following that continued on, and eventually it created demand for his revival by various independent publishers over the following years. These have never been as common as the more popular Marvel or DC titles and Charltons are still a bit harder to find than their mainstream counter-parts, especially in really good shape . As with all the other high grades from this time-period, prices should continue to escalate on copies of this hard to find bronze age key!This copy has been graded by CGC at a 9.4 with White pages. This book presents really well for it's grade, and has bright colors and good centering. A wonderful addition to any bronze age key collection or investment portfolio.Please see my other listings for more!
