MAN OF HIGH FIDELITY: EDWIN HOWARD ARMSTRONG (RARE!!!)
MAN OF HIGH FIDELITY: EDWIN HOWARD ARMSTRONG (RARE!!!)
Sold For:
I would consider this to be rare, seeing how it once belonged to Harry W. Houck, who was Edwin Howard Armstrong's right hand man since the days of WW1. Elsie Hermanson was an licensed amateur radio enthusiast since 1938 to her death. She and her husband Floyd Hermanson were good friends with Harry, who gave this book to Elsie before he died. is a page that has a picture of Harry in his backyard in Vero Beach, Florida. Scroll through the pages and you'll learn more about this important figure in the development of radio: /oldradio/hwhbio4.htm This paperback book is in fair condition, but rare none the less. Too bad he didn't sign it! Elsie marked the page numbers that mentioned Harry. A nice piece of radio history! WINNER PAYS $2.99 SHIPPING IN THE USA Combine other auctions and save $$$ on shipping! Whoever is the highest bidder on this item, reserve or not , will be the winner. Good luck.View Similar Items
