I think this is an octave mandola, at the moment it's tuned GDAE (like a mandolin). The label inside shows it's Italian-made by Musikalia (Dr Alfio Leone, Palermo) in 2002. It has a 19-fret finger board, and measures 21" from nut to bridge. Plays ok - slight lift on neck, but no buzzing on any frets (maximum action about 3mm). Also comes with spare set of unused strings.
