Glazed Redware Churn or Jar, American, 19th century, with applied tab handles, thrown with an ovoid midsection tapering to a narrow neck with flared rim, the shoulder accented with an incised line. Surface covered in a dark brown lead and manganese glaze. An unusual form in American redware. Possibly a table churn, although there is no wear to interior base. Two rim chips and wear to rim. Small chips to handles. Nicks to base. H 10 1/4".
