You are bidding on a Manhattan brass converted oil/kerosene hanging lamp. The oil lamp has a clear bubble design. The maker's marks on it I believe are the Manhattan Brass Company from New York. This is Pat'd April 30, 188?. I can't read the last digit. It is larger than the photo looks. This came directly off a ceiling so I know it works. It comes with a frosted chimney. The shade is handpainted pink wild roses(I think). T are 2 different colors of sage colors for the leaves. I took a photo against my "sage" colored walls and it looks FABULOUS!!!! The bottom of the shade measures 13 1/2" across. The top opening is 5 3/4" across. It's about 7" long. The metal work has a filigree look to it. This comes with all the parts needed to HARD WIRE it into a ceiling. It was kind of hard to photograph since I didn't have a hook to hang it on. Please email me with any question. T is no damage to the shade. The font looks like it's missing a piece of metal. When they electrified the lamp, they did DRILL thru the glass globe on the lamp! Like I mentioned, my photographs don't do this justice. This is truly a gorgeous victorian hanging lamp. I am now shipping WORLDWIDE so international bidders feel free to bid!
