New Original Design by Kevin Prochaska, Glass artist at Disneyland for more than 10 years .

This peaceful and gentle creature is virtually harmless to divers yet is so impressive because of its enormous size. The artist has carefully reproduced this creature so that it replicates the feeling of motion and grace that surrounds this huge ocean dweller as it glides through the sea like a bird in flight,. Underwater sculptures are a favorite subject matter for the artist as they lend themselves so beautifully to the glass medium. The sculpture is made entirely by hand of Borosilicate Crystal and colored using only pure gold. This piece measures approximately 5" tall, including the coral base and ray's wing spread is about 5 inches across. All coral used in Prochaska Galleries sculptures is artificial and shows off the colors in the glass beautifully. Kevin has made certain that the coral is exact in every detail including its weight of nearly one half pound. The brilliant rainbow of colors is created when pure gold is applied to the glass while it is still molten. Signed by the artist. An attractive information card trimmed in gold foil is included as well. Safe Shipping Guarantee Safe arrival and your complete satisfaction are always guaranteed. Extraordinary care is taken to insure the safe arrival of your blown glass figurine. We use a three-step process that has resulted in the safe shipment of thousands of Prochaska Galleries sculptures over the past 30 years. Step 1: As it is being made, the glass blower takes special care to reinforce all stress points to help protect against shock damage. Additionally all natural stresses are removed from the glass by a high temperature tempering process called annealing. Step 2: After the figurine is removed from our annealing oven it is thoroughly inspected by the artist who makes certain that all internal stresses have been removed from the glass and that its surfaces have been properly vitrified. Step 3: Finally, it's time for careful packaging in not one, but two cartons. Both are filled with shock absorption materials. The sculpture itself is firmly held in place inside the internal carton so as to prevent movement. Loose fill between the two cartons guards against shock and the external box protects against obvious damage. Our Guarantee: If for any reason you are unhappy with the quality of any piece of art from Prochaska Galleries, simply return it for a full refund or replacement, customer's choice. (We do ask that we be notified within 7 days of receipt of your order if you are not 100% satisfied). We accept PayPal, personal checks and money orders and ship via UPS/insured under normal circumstances.
