Resolved by State of New York : " ...For the use of the Senate and Assembly, a book to be denominated a Manual: Which shall contain the Constitution of this State and of the United States, diagrams of the Senate and the Assembly Chambers, extracts from statutes, and statistical and other information of the same description with that contained in the books heretofore procured by the Clerks and the two Houses respectively, with such other matter as may be deemed useful: and that we have the same bound in a pocket volume, and a copy thereof delivered within two weeks after the commencement of each session of the Legislature, ...
