Mike has studied Japanese netsuke and loves to combine traditional Maori designs and symbols with the perfect and exquisite detail and shape of netsuke. Carved with Mike's usual expertise, this tiki is highly atmospheric and reminiscent of the "ghost" netsuke. It is a miniature fine sculpture and can also be worn as a pendant with the cord passing through two tiny hidden holes at the top of the head. It measures 2.1" long by 1.1" wide at the widest point and has a depth of 12mms. A rounded and three dimensional piece with tiny bright blue paua shell eyes.
