This bench started out as a rope bed frame. I converted it to a bench, because I thought it would make a wonderful piece to put in a large entrance way or foyer. The frame is made of maple. When I got it, it was painted black, so I did refinish it. I shortened the side rails, and the frame still bolts together like it did originally. The bench is 54" wide and 44-1/2" high. It is 17-1/2" deep and the height of the seat is 20". I used both wood and webbing to support the seat. The cushion is just a cheap one that I bought at Lowes and could be replaced with something nicer. Because the bench is made of solid maple it is pretty heavy, and although it does come apart it would still be expensive to ship. Tfore, if you are interested in purchasing it you should contact me to arrange transporting it or picking it up. I may be able to meet you part way. Thanks for looking!
