A fine example of the quality silver plate by Mappin & Webb in triple deposit Prince's Plate. This is an ornate handled fruit bowl on footed base with scalloped and pierced detail to the rim. Measures 10" wide, and 3" high with a decorative handle. Apart from a few light scratches in the bowl the piece is in excellent condition for its age, probably dating to around 1900. There is a letter "h" in a shield on the base and the number W27514 along with the makers name and marks. Quite a heavy piece, but I will ship worldwide if requested. Thank you.
