Mappin and Webb cigarette box. Hallmarked London 1922. Sterling silver cigarette box with wood lining from leading English silversmiths Mappin & Webb. Engine turned decoration to the lid and a presentation incription to the front as shown. Full sterling silver hallmarks for London 1922 together with the makers mark M&W as shown in the close up photograph. Measure approx 4 1/4 inches (108mm) wide by 2 inches (51mm) high by 3 1/2 inches (89mm) deep. Weight approx 250 grams. T are a few dinks gained from use over the years as can be seen in the photographs and a piece of silver paper stuck to the lining. Shipping
