We also specialise in a range of painted furniture, using period colours, with matching fabrics. . ====================================== Maquette d'Ernst Gombric par Jacob Epstein (Collection de Gertrude ....tein). this is taken from a label to the base of the sculpture, the last part states Collection de Gertr..de ...tein, i presume it states Gertrude but I can't make out the full surname. it measures 5" in height and is set on a rough wooden plinth, it is made of what looks like bronze, but maybe spelter, it is certainly a metal. i presume it was a smaller version of the finished bust which would have been a larger size. it came from a Belgium flea market, therefore i presume Ernst Gombric was a famous figure in that area or neighbouring countries. .
