SMALL KARAMBIT - KERAMBIT + TRAINER 1 S . U . M . M . A . R . Y - It's a traditional edge weapon of Sundanese. Our blacksmiths living in a small village in West Java have made this knife and also many other kinds of edge weapons for years. They're reknown for their fine blades and craftmanship in metal and wood. This Sundanese karambit is much smaller than Karambit Minang. - It's our latest design. A couple months ago, a friend of mine, a Japanese martial artist from Yagyu School, and an ebayer gave a comment/input, i.e. they told us to make our karambit smaller, less fancy and was paired with a trainer. This small karambit series was designed with my hand size as reference. According to my friend, the size was ok :) The trainer was made almost identically equal with the sharp piece. They are both almost at the same weight and size. By providing the trainer, I hope t won't be any accident and once you're familiar with it, you can start using the sharp edge with minimum adaptation. D . E . T . A . I . L - It's a new handmade kerambit with a wooden sheath, fully functional and ready to use. - The handle and the sheath are made of Mentru wood. Fyi, this wood has been used by traditional ship builders in Sulawesi (Celebes) as their main material for building ships. With proper care, any thing made of Mentru wood can last 10- 25 read more
