Marantz CD-400 Quadraphonic CD-4 Disc Decoder/Demodulator with Rick Wakeman Quad LP
Marantz CD-400 CD-4 Disc Demodulator/Decoder in excellent to mint condition. Comes with Calibration Disc, original box and styrofoam packing material. I verified the unit is fully functional and is clean and quiet by playing the Rick Wakeman, Journey To The Centre Of The Earth CD-4 Quadraphonic LP that is also included in this auction. I went through the calibration routines using the Calibration Disc (included in this auction) and then played both sides of this disc. T was some distortion on some passages, but that was most likely due to my not setting up the turntable at all. I'm sure this was not due to the demodulator, which is in excellent to mint condition. Its output is clean and quiet. Cosmetically, it is virtually perfect. The Rick Wakeman, Journey To The Centre Of The Earth Quadraphonic LP is also in very good condition. I don't know much about the LP rating system, but I would venture it's about a VG++.'s the fine print: Buyer pays actual shipping costs. This unit is in very good to excellent physical and operational condition but is sold AS-IS , ALL SALES FINAL. Check my feedback rating and bid with confidence.
