Here we have a Marauder Miniatures DWARF COMMAND GROUP , it contains a total of five figures: Dwarf commander, champion, standard bearer, musician and Dwarf wizard. These were sculpted by Ally Morrison. Marauder Miniatures was a side company by Ally and Trish Morrison producing official figures for Warhammer Fantasy Battle in the mid 1980s. They produced a large range of excellent figures, that still look fantastic today! The figure is unpainted and in like-new condition. In my opinion, the mid-1980s was the best period for GW's Dwarves, they were a nice chunky size, but had not yet turned into the goofy "Beards, bellies and boots" phase of the 1990s and beyond. Check out the pictures, this is a nice little miniature with lots of character. I got into Warhammer back in the mid 1980s, and later went to work for Games Workshop in the UK during the late 1990s. I am preparing for a move, and so the time has come for me to finally get rid of the excess miniatures in my collection... I figure if I haven't painted it by now, it's probably never going to happen.
