This marble is over one inch in diameter and less than 1 1/8 inches . It is a polymer material over a glass base marble. I purchase canes from many sources world wide to create the Art Marbles scene. Slices are taken from chosen canes and carefully molded to the g lass base . When the desired results are complete , then the marble is baked, cooled, and sanded with many grades of 3M san d paper, buffed, then given a light coat of acrylic wax . This is a long process and the marbles are inspected carefully during the process. Sometimes I work on a marble for days because I have to reprocess it to meet the standards I want my handmade marble to meet. This marble features two beautiful blue.gold,black , white colored butterflies, two purple roses, three tiny blue fl owers and translucent little golden leaves. A summertime scen e marble. Each image is a different slice that has to be blended to make a smooth marble without distorting the image. You will receive the marble in a secure box with a clear acrylic stand and a small drawstring pouch to store the marble if desired. Shipping in the USA free.
