ABOUT THIS KNIFE: This 1999 limited edition of the classic Dall DeWeese design was handmade at the Marble's factory in Gladstone , Michigan . The fully-exposed tang cocobolo wood slab handle replicates the original knife that was designed by international sportsman Dall Deweese in 1907. This DeWeese production #885 is a part of the Signature Series produced for Fred Trost's Practical Sportsman TV show. It has never been sold, carried, used or sharpened and comes with the original blade protector, leather sheath and collectible 1999 Marble's "bobcat" box. The sheaths supplied with this collector's edition are not as high a quality as the sheaths supplied for working field knives. The photographs are of the actual knife offered for sale. ABOUT THE LIMITED EDITION: This 1999 limited-edition Dall DeWeese hunting knife replicates the original DeWeese design that Webster Marble made in his Gladstone, Michigan factory from 1907 to 1931. An original DeWeese is one of the most collectible of the vintage Marble's designs bringing thousands of dollars for one in good condition.
