Buy here with confidence.~ Very flexible layaway and payment plans available upon request. ~~ Red & Cream Scalloped Bangle Bracelet ~Several years ago I purchased a vintage bakelite tube that was a very nicely marbled cream corn and in a scalloped shape. I'd always intended to try and cast some high grade polyurethane around the scallop shape in different colors. Recently I did just that and the result is very pretty. The red polyurethane looks just like vintage bakelite and its quality and properties are very similar (minus the formaldehyde and carbolic acid that were included in vintage bakelite...). The bangle has an inner diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The walls are 5/8 of an inch wide and 1/2 inch thick. My signature and the date are inscribed on the inside surface (which has the original bakelite oxidized surface intact). I will be producing these in a limited number in different colors.
