Up for auction is a limited edition collectors plate. The plate was produced for the 350th anniversary of Marblehead's settlement. At the top of the plate is MARBLEHEAD in bold letters on the bottom is the town crest with the dates of 1649 on the left side and 1979 on the right side. The plate has six different scenes showing historical landmarks and events in Marblehead's history under each scene reads its' name and date, t is; Marblehead lighthouse~1890~, Hannah Schooner~1890, Old Powder House ~1775~, Burgess Airplane ~1912~, Old Town House~1727~, Abbott Hall~1876~ in the middle of these scenes is a map depicting Marblehead harbor, the neck and Marblehead's coastline. On the back of the plate is written "Martingale", "first edition" and the # 128. The plate is numbered and was produced in limited quantities, so s your chance to buy a rare collectible plate.
