This lot, A MARBLE CONSIGNMENT , consists of a 15/16" (24 mm) Vitro Agate Co. "Parrot" (ca. 1940s-1950s) in Near Mint + (8.7) condition with a tiny flake and a few pinprick flakes, as well as a touch of wear and pinpricking (examined, as always, under 20-power magnification with strong lighting). It has an opaque white base completely covered with swirled green, yellow, and lavendewr patches; the green is loaded with aventurine .
