THIS AUCTION IS FOR 12 VINTAGE MARBLES 5/8" COLOR: clear WITH orange blue and yellow SWIRLS These marbles were researched in Stanley A. Block’s Marble Mania Book and I believe these marbles may be the among listed on Page 121, either Bloodies or Rainbo. I really don’t know anything about identification so it is up to you. What you see is what you get!!!. The jar that I took them out of said “Marbles – dated 1948 in new condition.” They were stored in jars in the attic – wrapped in newspaper dated December 19, 1945. What interesting stories are in these newspapers (all yellowed and crumbled)! The carton they were in says “The Peltier Glass Company, Ottawa , IL .” The address on the label has a 2 digit zip code. The carton says 7,000 marbles( THIS AUCTION IS FOR QUANTITY OF 12 MARBLES )
