This lot, A MARBLE CONSIGNMENT , consists of an M. Grooper & Sons, Inc. "National Onyx Toy Marbles" box (ca. 1920s-1930s) of "25 No. 50 Prima Agates." The box has approximate dimensions of 3-13/16" by 3-13/16" by 27/32", and is in great condition with just some minor wear. It contains 25 Peltier Glass Co. "Rainbos" which measure between 19/32" (15 mm) and 5/8" (16 mm), all orange to yellow on light blue. All of these marbles appear to be in the Mint range of condition, though they were almost defintely added later, as the original marbles would probably have been "National Line Rainbos" or "Slags."
