ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR KNIFE: As are all of the Marble's knives sold by Joe Sportsman, this Mini-Caper was handmade at the Marble's factory in Gladstone, Michigan before the Marble's brand and cutlery division was sold in 2004. Although it was made in 2003 it has remained in its box in inventory in new, mint condition. It has a belt-ground and smoothly-polished carbon steel blade and an attractive cocobolo pinned Dymondwood slab handle with an exposed full tang. Dymondwood is a laminate that is stronger and more stable than whole cocobolo wood and is impervious to moisture, heat and cold. " on the ricasso, it was made at the Gladstone factory before the cutlery division was sold. It comes with the original orange blade protector, black leather sheath stamped with the Marble's logo, and the original collectible Marble's "bobcat" box. It has never been sold, carried, used or sharpened, and the photographs are of the actual knife, sheath and box being offered for sale.
