This lot, A MARBLE CONSIGNMENT , consists of a 5/8" (16 mm) Akro Agate Co. "Popeye Corkscrew" (ca. 1930s) in Mint (9.6) condition (examined, as always, under 20-power magnification with strong lighting). It has red and green spirals close to the surface of a clear base containing an average amount of wispy white; additionally, t is a tiny trace of yellow streaked close to one end of the green spiral.
