"Woman with Blue Scarf" This is an un framed , signed and numbered, Marcel Mouly lithograph on paper , entitled "Woman with Blue Scarf." The 1970's art is hand signed by Mouly, and it is numbered from the small edition of just 200 pieces . Mouly lithographs frequently have 300 pieces in the regular numbered editions. This piece is numbered 50/200 on the lower left of the art . Marcel Mouly (1918 - 2008) was born in Paris. His career of painting was influenced greatly by Picasso, Matisse and Braque. His work has been collected all over the world, and exhibited in prestigious venues around the globe. His art has been included in the permanent collections of more than twenty museums. He was at his death, the last living protege of the great Picasso. The print is in good condition! I did not list this piece as being in excellent condition because it has some soft handling folds/creases on the margins, away from the image. In addition, there are two tape marks on the reverse of the paper indicating that the art was previously framed. These cosmetic marks will not be visible when the art is framed. It will frame well.
