She started recording for Okeh in 1923, and after five sessions for the label over three years, moved over to Victor for sessions in 1926 & '27, before landing over at Okeh for one more date late in '27. This record finds her in her early days at Okeh, in a session that started late in the evening on January 7th, 1925, and continued well past midnight. The songs recorded were “Who’ll Chop Your Suey” and “Done Made A Fool Out Of Me.” The band is not listed in the Victor files except as a trio, playing a concertina, piano, and bass.
