This is a snake bowl made by Catawba Indian Master Potter Margaret Robbins. It measures 4.5" wide and 2" tall. It is signed "CATAWBA INDIAN MARGARET ROBBINS 2004". It is in good condition as bought from the potter with three fine firing cracks that occurred along the snake's body. these cracks go along about half of the snakes body. The cracks are superficial and do not go more than a millimeter or less deep and the pot is solid. It is a nice black color with very contrasty cream colored mottling.
