This is Margeli from Annette Himstedt's 2007 collection. She is vinyl with long human hair and striking blue glass eyes. She stands about 34" tall, and is outstandingly adorable! Her eyes are just gorgeous, and her nose and cheeks are covered with very realistic freckles. She is dressed in a seamstress made dress in a cheerful daisy print. Her original outfit is included, but the socks are missing. She has her COA and a Himstedt box and shipper, but the boxes may not be her original ones, as I am her second owner. She is just beautiful and perfect in every way but one...
Margeli has blue marks on her arms and torso. I was told they were caused by her having been dressed in a blue velvet dress, and that the color stained her body. However, whether this is true or not, I do not know for certain; it may be a flaw in the vinyl itself. In any case, the marks are covered when she is dressed, so they never really botd me. But anyone considering buying her needs to be aware of this. I tried to take some photos, but my camera does not take closeups very well, so the marks are difficult to see. Some are not very noticeable at all; others are darker. The rest of her body is perfect, but please do not bid if you are looking for a mint or near perfect doll, as this Margeli does have some flaws.
Margeli is from a smoke-free home, and has been well cared for as long as I have had her in my collection. She is fun to redress, and looks wonderful in all shades of blue.
