For auction is an etching or drawing, "The Pool" by Marguerite Kirmse. Portrayed is three Scottish Terrier dog puppies looking into a pool with lily pads. Each Scottie seems very enthralled with his reflection. Artist has signed in the bottom right in pencil. Also, the title of the picture, "The Pool" is written by the artist in pencil on bottom left. The actual etching or drawing is in excellent condition with no staining. T is some very minor wrinkling that I didn't notice until I took it out into the sunlight. T is a 1/8" ever so slight tear or line on the right side. You can't really notice it except with a magnifier, but thought I would mention it for accuracy. Sorry, I can't get a picture of it. Please note that I have not examined the etching outside the frame.

It is professionally matted and framed with a wire for hanging. The frame is made of black wood with gold beading. The frame is in excellent condition, no breaks. The glass front is intact. The paper backing is also intact. The matting is grey.

The frame is 12" x 11 1/4". Inside the matted area is 7 1/2" x 7".

Due to the nature of this item, I urge the high bidder to purchase insurance. I will wrap the item well with lots of bubble wrap, but I will not be responsible for damage by the post office. Not paying for insurance is at your own risk.
