Remastered and digitalized from an old Betamax tape For the first time the ORIGINAL, UNCUT, WELL PRESERVED Film documentary "Callas em Lisboa" ("Callas in LIsbon") Produced for Macau TV studios during Callas only portuguese season in 1958 - La Divina at her prime ! (has some eventual oriental subtitles that never annoy the brilliant amount of archives compiled in this TV special). You hear italian, english, portuguese, spanish, etc. Tiny clips of this film in low resolution are spread in tons of Callas documentaries. But this is the best possible copy of this vintage piece of film history. Now you can get the true material... The famous takes of Callas in the airport with her poodles, lots of rare unseen photographs, the interviews, backstage, interviews with Kraus, Lemeni, artists who took place in the performance - it is all there, all in the best possible quality of audio&video (now transformed in a high quality dvd). The highlight of the document is of course the amazing prolongued scenes showing Callas live on stage - seen here with an astonishing superior presence than in any other copy of this 1 hour long documentary.
