This rare pot was hand made by Maria Martinez and her daughter-in-law Santana. It has the traditional San Ildefonso Pueblo designs, hand coiled and fired in pits using manure for the deep colored black and it has a gunmetal sheen. The fired signatures, in very rare clarity, are visible on the base. This beautiful pot stands 3.5 high by 4.75 inches high. I have owned and cared for this pot for 18 years.
