THIS AUCTION IS FOR: MARIAN ANDERSON AUTOGRAPHED 3X6 CUT Perfect signature in black fountain pen. The cut was removed from an autograph book and is in good condition with no creases or tears, some inks spots around the last name, looks like an impression from an adjacent signature in the book. On the reverse is another signature we cannot distinguish, any help would be appreciated and posted as a note at the bottom of the listing. Anderson (d. 1993) was a contralto opera singer. She is probably best known for her Easter Sunday, 1939 performance on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. The 10X12 color photo shown below is also included in the listing. It is a publicity shot from RCA / Victor Red Seal Recording Artists. T is a 1/4" X 1" chunk missing from the bottom left corner which could be easily covered with a proper matting and frame job.
