Marion and Martinez by Nickolas Muray & Others Lot (1920s). Portrait Photos (2) and Signed Portrait Photo (8" X 10"). Miscellaneous. Vintage gelatin silver, single weight, glossy and matte finish photos. Featured in this lot is an excellent portrait photo of dancing duo Marion and Martinez Randall in costume, by photographer Nickolas Muray. Included is a portrait photo of Evan-Burrows Fontaine by photographers Geisler and Andrews (1920s), and a signed portrait photo of an unknown performer by Arthur Muray. The latter is signed "To Mother B, With all my love. Always, Teddy Bear." This is likely a pseudonym, indicating that she may have been a burlesque performer. Unrestored photos that display signs of use. May include light edge wear, very minor paper loss, or light smudging. The photo of Evan-Burrows Fontaine has "Geisler & Andrews" handwritten in ink in the lower right corner. The photo of "Teddy Bear" is moderately toned. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine/Very Fine. Grade: 70, Service No.: 1433809
