HANDSOME VINTAGE SILVERCREST STERLING SILVER OVER BRONZE INKWELL WITH GLASS JAR CLASSIC ARTS & CRAFTS DESIGN You are bidding on a masculine, very handsome bronze inkwell by Silvercrest in a classic Arts & Crafts design with heavy sterling silver overlay on the lid, complete with the original glass jar. This piece is pyramid-shaped with a flat lid and is 4-3/8" square at the base. It stands approximately 2-1/4" tall. It does have the glass jar, but not a metal lid for the jar. It has an aged bronze patina with heavy sterling silver overlaid on the top. The inkwell is marked Silvercrest, Sterling Decorated Bronze, the number 105 and the number 26. T are no flaws to report--everything is in perfect condition. The base has been cleaned in an area just large enough to reveal the marks.
