Up for auction is a Vintage, Solid Sterling 31 Charms Bracelet. The actual Charm Bracelet is 8 Inches long and is marked Caco Sterling on the secure closure with 37 Dual Links, and a safety chain. Each charm is either solid sterling, sterling with fine jewel, pearl, faux jewel, natural stone, shell, or cloisonne. As well, each an every finding and attachment is solid sterling. All unmarked charms have been tested and most have been looked at by my jeweler. T is only one faux jewel, a faux ruby that is either rhinestone or glass and is in the little spinning Florida charm. The rest of the stones are totally natural. This is not my usual practice, but I'm sure you will understand that I have to put a small reserve on this bracelet to protect my investment. This looks to have been the bracelet of a world traveler. I would guess that the butterflies might signify freedom. I originally had thought that this bracelet might have been owned by a Southerner. However, I find it interesting that somew along the way this individual must have travelled to Germany since t is one charm which is 800 German Silver and is marked Konstantz. It's possible that this person might have attended the university t But this is just speculation on my part. I would also guess that this party may have had an interest in music because of the presence of the trombone charm and the treble clef. The description of the 31 Charms are to follow and include: 1) Silver wire treble clef about a little more than 1 Inch long 2) Very pretty little circular charm with lapis and turquoise inlay a bit smaller than a dime marked TR58 Mexico with part of the Mexico marking worn off. 3) Solid sterling St. Christopher's metal (Unmarked) 4) Stunning little solid silver dolphin 5) Luscious chunk of bloodstone agate with flecks of chardonnay charm 6) Little natural tree charm which looks like shimmering copper. I would guess that this is also bloodstone 7 & 8) 2 solid silver mercury head dimes 9) Aztec calendar marked 925 10) Beautifully colored little turquoise barrel charm about 3/4 Inch long with lovely shades of tan and beige flowing throughout 11) Circular Happy Anniversary Charm with about tjhe size of a quarter with swirling trim and a big bow at the top with luscious ribbon dangling down each side-Marked STERLING BAR on the other side 12) Circular Florida tourist charm about the size of a dime with Florida printed on one side and a palm tree on the other. The coconut at the bottom of the tree is a little faux ruby. The inner-portion of this charm spins on its axis within the circular frame-Marked BAR STERLING 13) Gorgeous chunky agate pendant charm with swirling tones of coral, slate, gray and ivory 14) Cloisonne butterfly charm-butterfly has glowing orange body and beautiful turquoise and white wings and is trimmed in glowing gold-toned cloisonne. She has a little silver bead at the atop and below her body. 15) Louisiana tourist charm about 1 Inch long which is the shape of the fair state with key cities marked. It is marked STERLING on the back 16) Little open circular charm about the size of a dime with a tiny bell hanging in the center 17) Tiny peace pipe tourist charm with a little tag which reads STERLING BY BELL on one side and Cherokee, N.C. on the other 18) Light blue cloisonne and sterling state of Maine tourist charm about 1 Inch long. It is solid sterling and topped with light blue cloisonne. The landmarks are highlighted with more sterling. Marked STE on the reverse side. 19) This is my personal favorite because I am just mad for emeralds. Solid Sterling Orlando Florida tourist charm a tiny bit smaller than a quarter. This charm is so beautifully designed (must see to appreciate). It is an open circle with a palm tree in the center.
