The locomotive has a red die-cast metal body with white lettering and trim. Pantographs on the roof articulate and can be used as the power pick-up. The switch on the bottom of the locomotive allows for switching between train and pantograph power pick-up. Lights operate on the front and rear of the locomotive. Three white lights on the front and two red lights on the rear. Light configuration switches with the direction of travel, white to the front, red to the rear.
