Here is a rare and beautiful set of four Prussian (northern German) old-style 3-axle passenger cars later used on excursion trains from Berlin. This set is brand-new, latest production, with the hard-to-find blackened wheels specially made for these 3-axle cars. All cars look absolutely flawless. The only reason I don't rate this set as a "10" is that I didn't buy it myself from Marklin. (Unlike many other sellers, I have strict rules!) Please see the photos and use the "Zoom" feature so you can see the state-of-the-art details. The roofs are perfect and the cars are done in Marklin's latest-generation, subtle dark olive that's more realistic than the garish green of the past. (If my camera makes them look brown on your monitor, I apologize. They're really deep olive.) Also included is a music CD with a song essentially saying "Don't forget to pack your bathing suit!" as these cars were often used on excursion trains to take people to the beaches of northern Germany in summer.
