Out of my private collection, in excellent condition, rarely used, box shows a little wear from storage, papers included! 1/87 HO scale MARKLIN Diesel Locomotive . " Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway " (AT & SF) class 52 express locomotive, ERA III. American Locomotive Company (ALCO) type PA-1. Diesel-electric propulsion. Road number 61L.This locomotive comes with a digital decoder (Factory set to code 60), controlled high-efficiency propulsion and auxiliary functions. 2 axles powered. 4 traction tires. The headlight and lighted number boards will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The Mars light, the diesel motor sound effects, the horn sound effect, as well as the acceleration and braking delay can be controlled digitally with the 6021 Control Unit. Powerful speaker. Adjustable volume. This locomotive can be coupled to a second motorized locomotive without a decoder (49611), which is controlled from the decoder in the first locomotive. Close coupler in the standard pocket can be replaced with an American style coupler or with a cover plate. Length over the couplers 9-1/4" inches. Features: Item #37611. Retired in 2006 !
