Marklins most desireable HO train of the 1950`s - This particular model was made to the best of my knowledge in 1955, with plain small loop coupler, and it has a blueish gray roof finish - These trains are of a very high quality and durability, unfortunately long lost in the Marklin products of today. This particular is absolutely as clean and fine as you will ever find, runs as sweetly as it looks, all lights except one work - Reversing is nice, smooth and strong runner - When running it makes far nicer mechanical sounds than any digital sound unit, there is nothing phony about this train VERY IMPORTANT INFO FOR THOSE WHO PLAN TO BID: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - STUDY PHOTOS ASK QUESTIONS - Sale is final, and it is sold as is, I have been extremely careful to describe as well as possible - Photos are integral to the description - Please bid only if you agre with my terms, if you win, do not go into hiding, or piss and moan about the cost of shipping, I do not charge the shipping the Post Office does, I have to pay them! It seems there is an ebay member not happy with the description of the loco, "loeksr" is very knowledgeable when it comes to Dutch style Marklin trains, he is certain this loco is a version a 3013 Koll version four, because the hand levers are black, which they are, also he feels the roof is silver, the roof I do know without any doubt, is a blue/gray irid. color, consisten with a version 3, the loco also has all metal gears, it has version 7 couplers, the box is an original Marklin box, but the end flap, with the label has had work done to it, it could very well be a box from another Marklin loco with a fake label, and various other repairs done to the end flap in question, also obvious in the picture part of my description is that one of the lamp holders is black, not blue as the color of the loco is. As a final note regarding the description is, THE LOCO IS BEING SOLD AS FOLLOWS: AS IS FOR PARTS OR RESTAURATION ONLY, UNSURE OF EXACT YEAR OF MANUFACTURE, INCORRECT BOX AND WRONG TISSUE PAPER ETC., with this newly added information I once again ask anyone who feels they bid in error due to the mistakes in my original description should immediately withdraw their bids. Thank You all for your patience and understanding, and even though I am selling as is for parts or restauration, it really is as fine a specimen I have owned or seen, if "loeksr" has further problems with this listing, he/she or any other ebay member should feel free to contact ebay an submit a dispute/complaint etc. OOP`S forgot one other detail, a certain ebay member is sure that the lettering on the fore and aft of the loco is painted siler, SEH 800, but it is in fact raw metal, Marklin would with a small flat file remove the paint from certain lettering they wanted to look prominent Have just added another picture of the box and wrapping, this is the box and wrapping I GOT THE LOCO in, but I am not the first owner Note: I have added a photo depicting the blueish gray roof versus silver, the SEH is the gray blue one read more
