The item for bid is a Marked Maroon Color Semi-Matte Finish Round Art Pottery Cabinet Vase with a "TULIP BLOOM FORM" that was made by the Van Briggle Art Pottery Company of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The vase is marked on the base, which appears to be dirty, with the Van Briggle "BOXED A" Logo, "VAN BRIGGLE" and "COLO, SPGS" in block letter form incised into the clay. T is also the number "19" to the left of the logo. I do not know when this vase was made as I am not familiar with Van Briggle's dating system. The vase is in EXCELLENT USED CONDITION with the only visible defect being a few faint scuff marks on the exterior surface. It measures 3-1/2" tall, the top opening is 2-3/8" square, and the round base is 1-7/8" diameter.
