Stunningly good 7 year old Martin 00028. The 00028 is possibly the greatest acoustic ever made. It's the one that everyone wants. Great for any style, robustly made, comfy round neck, loud, and when played softly has a musical sad sweet sound that is missing on most acoustics. It sounds like Neil Young's acoustic. The 00028 is paticularly good for finger picking, which is why Davey Graham played one, and also Clapton among others. This one is in near mint condition but has been played. Along the bottom back edge there are some minor lacquer chips where the guitar has been stood, this is normal the wood is undamaged and the lacquer is stable, this often happens on the back bottom edge, I just have to be thorough in describing the condition, most people wouldn't have noticed though as they are small. Martin use very thin cellulose lacquer which is part of the reason they sound so good. But apart from that it is pristine, with zero fret wear and no neck wear. I am a fully qualified tech and have checked for action and neck relief etc. I have put on a new set of Martin 12 gauge phosphor bronze strings. The case is original and it also has the original import waybill from the USA, as well as the instruction manuals and cards etc. These cost £2,000 new!
